About this Event
In this 3 hour session you will learn the principles of risograph printing and get advice from our technician on creating print layers for 4 different card designs.
You will then print your cards, trim and fold them.
You will print 10 of each design, ending up with 40 cards plus envelopes in this fun Sunday workshop.
Riso printing is commonly used for making prints, comics, zines, posters, flyers, and cards. The riso printer looks a bit like a photocopier and uses rice paper stencils and drums of soy based ink to create mono-coloured layers, similar to screen printing. It is vibrant, distinctive and has lots of room for experimentation.
Artbox London is a registered charity and social enterprise supporting people with learning disabilities and autism to create, exhibit, sell and license their artwork. Please try and give at least 24hrs notice if you can not make the workshop, or we may not be able to refund you. We are are a small charity and as these workshops have limited spaces we will need time to try and fill them.
