Rising Sun Annual Celebration

VENUE UPDATE: Due to such a fantastic response, we have moved the event to the Templeman Lecture Theatre in order to increase the capacity!

Rising Sun's Annual Celebration reflects on our achievements and impact in the past year, as well as looking at what has changed in the 50 years since we were founded as a grassroots women's refuge in 1975.

What to expect:

• a roundtable discussion with some of Rising Sun’s founding team members
• the launch of our brand-new guidance for health professionals working with child survivors
• a viewing of our animated short film
• we will also be joined by survivors, who will be sharing their experiences with us.
