We are a STEM-based organisation for young girls to engage their minds and grow their knowledge andinterests in STEM-based projects, experiments and content! Rising Scientess is a non-profitorganisation with the purpose of creating an equal opportunity in STEM driven by the absence of womenin STEM careers.
STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Our purpose is to help expand theinterest in different STEM options for young girls, and do fun activities to help them understand howcertain aspects of the world around them works, in the hope that they are introduced to all the optionsthat allow them to be the leaders in the next generation of scientists, technologists, engineers, andmathematicians. We hope they will make significant contributions and advancements in STEM areas.We are fuelled by the low numbers of women in STEM, compared to men, and we desire a future wherethe imbalance no longer exist.
