You’ve been asking for more activities beyond our monthly social gatherings, and we’re excited to announce something special for February!February is not just the month of love; it’s also Heart Association Month—a time dedicated to understanding, preventing, and treating heart disease. What better way to stay active and spread the love than joining us for a meaningful walk together.
Here’s the plan:
Anchor Coffee Meetup:
We’ll gather at Anchor Coffee to kick things off with positivity and creativity. Together, we’ll write uplifting affirmations on hearts made of seeded paper—hearts that symbolize love, growth, and hope.
Greenway Walk:
We’ll take a walk on the Greenway, spreading the love as we distribute seeded hearts. Each heart is a symbol of our love for our community and our commitment to growing together.
Merle’s Gathering:
After our walk, we’ll meet at Merle’s for to share more love and laughter. This will be a time to reflect, connect, and enjoy each other’s company.
Donations Welcome:
We are accepting donations to support the Heart Association. If you can’t attend the event but would still like to contribute, please let us know—your generosity is greatly appreciated!
