About this Event
An opportunity to hear from the Vice Principal for Economic Development and Innovation and her senior team on the ambitious plans for the University of Glasgow as it rebrands to launch ‘Innovate-Glasgow’. This session will set the vision for commercialisation, innovation and entrepreneurship including how we will seek to establish an entrepreneurial culture and the right support for our growing band of innovators and entrepreneurs at UofG. You’ll hear more about how the development of student enterprise, academic consultancy and how our work in supporting spin-outs aligns to supporting regional economic development, and future plans for developing a seed fund and innovation spaces on campus.
This session is open to all, including our student and staff community.
Join us in-person or online for this unmissable opportunity to hear about the University’s developing ambitions for innovation and entrepreneurship and to ask your questions in the open Q&A.
In-person attendees are welcome to join the RISE Committee and other colleagues for networking drinks and canapes in the foyer.
