With over 30 years in film and television, Carol Spann Mathews specializes in faith and family entertainment. Her debut feature, HOME RUN, opened in nearly 400 theaters and continues to inspire audiences globally with its powerful message of hope and recovery.
Carol has produced television series for ESPN, TBN, and The Family Channel, as well as educational content for the For Dummies brand. Her award-winning work includes documentaries and the Angel Award-winning program Hymns, uncovering the stories behind timeless classics like Amazing Grace.
Beyond film and television, Carol brings her passion for storytelling to the non-profit and corporate sectors. Since 1999, she has collaborated with numerous organizations, helping them articulate their mission, vision, and values to foster more substantial community impact and internal cohesion. Whether helping businesses clarify their story or assisting non-profits in amplifying their cause, Carol’s commitment to purposeful storytelling is the cornerstone of her career.
Our founding scripture for TWF is Matthew 11:28 "Are you tired? Worn out? Come to me...I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me - watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly."
