About this Event
On March 27th, the RISE Program will host its annual fundraiser to support its Cosmetology and Barbering School for Justice-Impacted Individuals, a life-changing program designed to provide career opportunities and empower individuals affected by the justice system. The event will take place at Will Rogers Theater and feature a fun and nostalgic 1987 prom theme, bringing back the best of the '80s for a cause that truly matters.
This event is not just a celebration—it's an opportunity to change lives. The funds raised will go directly toward scholarships, training programs, and job placement services for individuals working to rebuild their lives after incarceration. By offering training in both cosmetology and barbering, the RISE Program equips participants with the skills they need to build successful careers, break the cycle of recidivism, and create a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
Guests will enjoy a night filled with 80s music, a live painting session, and guest speakers Tricia Everest, Oklahoma Secretary of Public Safety, and Rhonda Bear, Women in Transition program director for Stand in the Gap. Lance West will Emcee the event, and World-renowned Harley Davidson pointillism/stippling artist Dennis "The Dot Man" Jackson will make a special appearance. Help support a cause that provides justice-impacted individuals with the tools they need to transform their careers and lives. Your support will help provide these individuals with the resources to gain financial independence and a sense of purpose.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of fun, impact, and community. Together, we can help create lasting change and give justice-impacted individuals the chance to thrive.
