Whiting Ranch features a host of local animals,reptiles, birds and also riparian, oak woodland, grassland, chaparral, and coastal sage scrub environments throughout various canyons and hillscapes. And the Red Rock Canyon is definitely a sight to see. Take proper hiking apparel, hiking shoes, a hat, water, snacks, binoculars, camera/phone and check weather conditions to see if jacket is needed.
