Welcome to RISE 2026
RISE is a free event for young people aged 16-25 who are not currently in education, employment or training.
This is a safe, supportive space to explore what your next step could be - at your pace.
You will meet 9 local Oxfordshire businesses who are working with Oxfordshire Youth to create real opportunities for young people.
No Interviews.Just real conversations

You dont need a CV. You dont need experience. Just come as you are.
What the day looks like
11.00am -Arrival
A relaxed welcome with refreshments and time to settle in
11.30 Inspire Your Mind
Start the day with a short, motivating talk from someone who has been where you are and found their way forward
12:00- Raise Your Energy
Get moving with one of two taster sessions - SPRIT or BLAZE .- alongside other young people and supportive staff.
Lunch Break
Time to get changed and head to the Empowerment Zone for a FREE lunch.
1PM -2PM Connect and Discover
Enjoy your lunch while chatting informally with local businesses.
No interviews, no pressure - just honest converstions and advice
2.00pm -2.15pm Next Steps Hub
Get practical support with:
- CV's and Applications
- Training and work opportunities
- What your next step could look like
2.30PM RISE Wraps Up!
