Stories + Data = Power: Democratizing Urban Planning and Development
A Celebratory Launch of a People's tool to use NYC’s Equitable Development Data Explorer to Amplify Community Voices in Rezonings and Development Presented by RISC and CUP
Join RISC (the citywide Racial Impact Study Coalition) for an open-house reception to celebrate both the public release of New York City’s Equitable Development Data Explorer (EDDE) and the recent publication of the EDDE Poster, created through RISC’s collaboration with the Center of Urban Pedagogy (CUP).
The open house will include informal conversation and periodic short presentations on the EDDE. You can learn how to use the EDDE to support neighborhood organizing and advocacy for social justice and strengthen the public’s voice in shaping the future of our communities.
We welcome you to join us throughout the afternoon for food, drink, music and conversation at our shaded alfresco buffet.

We are mindful of our community and those most vulnerable among us and the continuing threat of COVID-19 . We ask that folks mask inside the space.
