Ripleyville once stood to the south east of Bradford City Centre. An urban model village with professed aims of social progress, it was the brainchild of industrialist Henry William Ripley, but by the latter part of the 20th Century what remained of it was being torn down. So why did this happen?Delivered by Jonathan Crewdson, Director of the Neighbourhood Project, this talk will look further at this history of one of Bradford's lost and forgotten neighbourhoods. It is free and will take place at the Millside Centre on the corner of Grattan Road and Thornton Road. Light refreshments will be provided.
