Ahoy Seagullians and Fellow Vintage Outboard enthusiasts!We have a special leisurely cruise planned along the Upper Waitemata Harbour from Beach Haven to Riverhead.
Meet up at Island Bay Road carpark boat ramp on the 10th August (rain date 24th August), around 8am and get on the water about 9am.
Whenuapai High Tide 11:30am, so the current will be with us.
The trip should be around 1.5 to 2 hours (approx. 12km / 6.5 nautical miles one way) putting us at the Riverhead Pub around mid-day.
Stay at the pub for lunch for around an hour to an hour and a half. Then head back to island bay carpark arriving around 3pm.
Open to any outboard, but a Seagull is more than enough. This trip is weather dependent due to the patch of water by Island Bay road.
