9pm- Morioux (TPA)
M I R Ó U X delivers an infectious "big-stage" sound and addictive melodies, releasing a hypnotic wave of endorphins. An underground buzz quickly emerged when the band leaked their demos in late 2015, only to be amplified in 2016 after opening for one of their biggest idols “Young the Giant" in Saint Petersburg, FL. Young the Giant, stated while watching the band’s set: “ We will be opening for Miróux one day”. Since then Miróux have opened up for national and international stars like Bon Jovi, Cage The Elephant, The 1975, Capital Cities, Young The Giant, Echosmith, Bad Suns, Andrew McMahon, Bishop Briggs, and more.
Miróux is made up of prestigious Tampa Bay jazz conservatory musicians; vocalist and founder Jonah Hollander, bassist, co-songwriter, and producer Sebastian (Sabi) Siaca, and founding member drummer Natalie Depergola.
In late 2017, the band took a creative break, prompting some members to pursue diverse artistic paths in the process. Nevertheless, Hollander and Siaca persisted, preserving the vision for Miróux's resurgence. By early 2020, the trio had constructed enough material to reignite the project. Miróux was revitalized, and the group could not wait to get the show back on the road.
Despite facing a crossroads, Hollander and Siaca remained committed. With a fresh arsenal of music, they were ready to relaunch, only to be halted by the global Covid-19 pandemic. Undeterred, they used this time to refine their craft, emerging stronger in late 2021.
In January 2022, after a four-year hiatus, M I R Ó U X not only regained but surpassed their previous momentum. They clinched the 97x Funky Buddha Band of the Year at Jannus Live and shared the stage with legends Bon Jovi at Tampa's Amalie Arena.
Miróux’s music ranges from songs of rhythmic electronic dance beats, to heart breaking, yet catchy melodies that get stuck in your head. With synergy in place, relentless drive, and a deluge of talent, M I R Ó U X’s unique sound is quickly gaining recognition from fans and industry professionals alike.
