We are very excited to be welcoming List 3a BD judge, Level 1 FEI judge, and creator of RingCraft - Alex Gingell - for a lecture demo here at Kingston Maurward on Saturday 1 November! With over 30 years’ experience, Alex bridges the gap between judge, trainer, and rider. He will be bringing RingCraft – an online dressage training community – to a live, in-person setting and putting three demo riders (Novice up to Medium) through their paces. This will be a fantastic opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding into what a judge is looking for in a test, how to maximise marks, and get the best out of yourself and your horse.
This demo is open to anyone, whether you are a dressage competitor, a trainer, judge, or just an interested enthusiast! There will be three CPD points available for BHS APCs.
The demo will cover topics such as way of going, maximising the good and minimising the bad, avoiding common errors, and how to execute movements correctly. It will be an informal and interactive session, with opportunities to ask questions throughout. Refreshments will be available. Tickets can be purchased online via Equo Events or by calling the office on 01305 215016. Early-bird tickets cost £15 (£22 on the door).
