RIGÓ is a choir working with vocal polyphonic heritage from various cultures. Our goal is to create a community around folklore and appreciate cultural diversity. We welcome all kinds of voices and members despite their background regarding music and singing. All material is taught by ear, therefore being able to read sheet music is not needed.
During a season, we aim to have a diverse repertoire from various cultures and styles. We have previously worked with songs from Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Hungary, Greece, Palestine, Spain, Portugal, Argentina and Brazil, among others.
The choir is led by Dorottya Máté, a student of the Royal Academy of Music, who is passionate about folklore and vocal music.

Student fee 700 DKK
Normal fee 900 DKK

19.00 - 19.30: doors open, checking in
19.30 - 21.30: rehearsal
