Dame Charlotte and Sir Peter, clown-musicians, are invited to a talk on opera, which they begin with a perfect mastery of their knowledge and talent. The objective: to introduce opera and (above all!) to learn to appreciate this great art. However, little by little, tongues tangle and misunderstandings trip over one another… It is then that the conversation is ignited, propelling the audience into a joyful journey of music, learning, and puns.
Since their formation in 2015, Rigoletta has made it their mission to create extraordinary concerts. Charlotte Gagnon, artistic director, dreamed of multidisciplinary shows and shaking up the standards expected of classical recitals. Her profound and joyful connection with pianist Laurence Lambert-Chan led to the creation of their first show : Opera 101. Since then, Rigoletta dedicated to creating, producing and presenting captivating stories brought to life by endearing characters—sometimes funny, sometimes touching—all in a grand celebration of music and opera!
