Save The Date for Santa on the Train! The Sedalia Visitors & Convention Bureau and Sedalia Main Streets are pleased to announce the Santa on the Train event for 2024 - our third year of bringing joy and excitement to area families during the holiday season! This creates a fun opportunity for your child to talk to Santa while riding Amtrak's Missouri River Runner. Please note that tickets will be limited to 250 this year!
***We will post a special link for you to purchase your tickets, so please stay tuned for more information. (If you call on your own, chances are the Amtrak employee you're speaking with will not be familiar with our Santa event). ***
Not able to ride the train this year? No worries, Santa will still plan on visiting with children after the train arrives in Sedalia at Lamy's. A special thank you to Lamy's for hosting our Santa visit once we reach Sedalia.
Please note: The December 14, 2024 Ride the Train with Santa does NOT include a vendor area. Any posts asking people to private message them for vendor set-up will be deleted.
We have also posted Amtrak and Missouri River Runner's Terms and Conditions. Changes to the fares are not available, so if you have purchased tickets and aren't able to go, you may CANCEL your ticket (a 25% fee will apply). Please do not respond to posts saying tickets are available and all you have to do is private message them. Only Sedalia Main Streets and Visit Sedalia are involved with this event. We'd like to assume everyone is on the up-and-up but Santa knows - and he has a big bag of coal prepped for those who aren't.🙂
