The B-25 Mitchel Maid in the Shade and the C-47 Old Number 30 will be at the Wings and Wheels Festival at Spanish Fork, UT, September 23 – 28, 2025.The B-25 was developed by North American Aviation and used mainly as a low altitude strafe and skip bomber. Nearly 10,000 B-25s were produced, and “Maid in the Shade” is one of 34 still flying today.
Serving with the 11th Troop Carrier Squadron, this C-47 flew highly classified missions transporting spies and supplies and rescuing wounded and refugees.
