The annual Ride of Silence is an 8.5 mile ride that begins and ends at City Hall.On Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 7:00 PM, the Ride of Silence will traverse and unite the globe as nothing before it. Cyclists will take to the roads in a silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways, and to raise awareness that cyclists have a legal right to share the road with motorists.
Location: The ride will begin and end at Colorado Springs City Hall. The schedule of events is:
6:00 pm – Riders begin to arrive and sign waivers.
6:45 pm – Welcoming remarks and the Ride of Silence poem is read.
7:00 pm – Riders depart.
8:00 pm – Riders begin to arrive back at City Hall.

The ride is 8.5 miles long with the anticipated speed of the slowest rider at 8-10 mph. We should be done by 8:30 pm. The max speed is 12 mph, and we will try to keep all the riders together so the lead riders will slow down at the front to avoid stringing out the line.
