Starting from Box Park in Croydon a bit earlier than normal to ensure we reach the Lancing College Chapel to have a look around it before it closes. There will be a couple of stops enroute and a cafe stop in Shoreham.
NB this is quite a challenging route with a few steep sections and there aren't too many rest stops.
Lancing College Chapel is a magnificient Gothic Revival Chapel in the South Downs National Park and is the largest school chapel in the World.

About London Clarion Cycle Club
London Clarion Cycle Club is a London Cycling Club established in 1895 by readers of the Clarion Newspaper. Today London Clarion has 180 members and we organise Social Rides and Cycle Touring throughout the year. We are a mixed ability cycling club, we are not a racing club.
Ride Guidelines
All riders will need to be self sufficient in dealing with any punctures, mechanical breakdowns etc
All riders will be riding at their own risk
Please bring enough layers to keep you warm, a face covering, hand gel, lights, a waterproof and snacks to help keep you going, cash for coffee a pump and a spare inner tube just in case!
We will run a WhatsApp group during the weekend of the ride.
Covid Rules: The latest rules on Covid-19 must be followed at all times. British Cycling Covid-19 Guideance We encourage everyone to bring a mask with them and observe social distancing. If you feel unwell or you have been in close contact with someone with covid-19 please cancel your registration and stay at home.
The route will be emailed to those you have registered just before the weekend of the ride. If you can, download the route on your phone or bike computer.
