This is the 17th annual rally and RIDE. The event was held in June but was moved to the second weekend in October in 2019. We did not host due to covid in 20,21 or 22, with our first year back being 2023. Over the years we have put on the Ride for Wishes rally and RIDE, we have raised over $302,000! That is a HUGE accomplishment and could not have been achieved without the support of our community! THANK YOU to any one of you that has supported us in one way or another over the years! We are the second oldest external event in MO that raises money for MAW kids,. We have vendors, bands, silent auction tent, bike blessing, booze box raffles, 50/50 and a Kids Korner with free games and free prizes both days.
The actual motorcycle RIDE is Sunday. $20 is the cost to register as a rider to ride the RIDE. All registered riders get a FREE lunch provided by Shamrocks Pub and Grill. At around 11:45 the National Anthem is sung, the Bike Blessing is done and the riders are asked to head to their bikes. We are kickstands up promptly at noon for our 1.5 hour police escorted ride, where all entrances and exits are closed as our riders pass by. The ride this year will encompass St Charles county, city, New Melle and Defiance. Upon the riders return, lunch is served, Steve Harris our emcee from KMOV does some announcements and introduces our WISH Kids. We close silent auction at 3, announce the winners at 4 and then those that stay for their baskets hang around to pay and receive them. Those silent auction baskets that are not claimed on Sunday are taken to The Graf Group Insurance Services in Maryland Heights and can be picked up over the course of the next two weeks.
If you would like to skip the line on Sunday, please PREREGISTER on Saturday between 10-4 at the Registration booth. If you come in the top entrance of Harley by the school lot, the registration booth will be the first booth on the left. PREREGISTERED riders can skip the line on Sunday, show their wrist band and come in entrance 3 which will be marked for preregistered riders. If you need to register on Sunday to ride, registration will be open Sunday 9-11:45.
Food vendors both days: The food court will be in the upper lot closest to Harley.
Harley tent: (Saturday only) Committee members will be cooking and serving hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs and brats. Chips, soda, water and c4 energy drinks available. (Thank you St. Charles Harley-Davidson for donating the burgers, dogs and soda. Thank you Schnucks for donating the chips. Thank you The Graf Group Insurance Services for donating the brats and thank you C4 Energy drinks for donating the 8 cases!
Harley Tent: (Sunday only) Shamrocks will be serving FREE lunch to ALL registered riders. Lunch consists of pulled pork sandwich, potato salad, bag of chips, a cookie and soda or water. Thank you Shamrocks!
