💛 An Update on Our Brave Todd 💛
We’ve been given an update from Todd’s mum, and with her blessing we are sharing it here with everyone who is supporting this incredible little boy.
Last year, Todd’s family were told the devastating news that his chemo was no longer working, and that without other treatment options they might only have around a year left. It’s a conversation no parent should ever have to face.
In January, Todd was able to start a different type of chemotherapy in tablet form. For a while it helped keep things stable, and they clung to that hope. But although the treatment slowed things down, it was never going to be a cure, and the side effects became unbearably hard for Todd to cope with.
Some changes were harmless, like his hair turning lighter and curly. But the painful ones were heartbreaking: sores on his hands, feet, armpits and behind his knees, constant tummy pain, loss of appetite and severe diarrhoea. It took away so much of his comfort and joy.
A month ago, he came off the tablets, and since then he has been so much happier. He’s eating properly, smiling more, and his little spark has begun to return. For his family, seeing him brighter and more himself again has been everything.
Todd will have another scan in the New Year so doctors can see how his body is responding now that he’s off treatment. Until then, his family are cherishing every moment of seeing him enjoy life a little more.
This year’s ride is all about helping Todd and his family create the most amazing memories together… memories full of joy, comfort and love. Every single mile, every donation and every rider is helping give them the time and experiences that matter most.

We are arranging a very magical Christmas ride for Todd on Sunday 14th December.

⏰ Meet from: 16:00
🏍️ Departure: 17:00 sharp
We’ll then make our way to Todd to surprise him with more Christmas cheer than anyone could ever expect. Let’s give this brave little boy a moment he will never forget… a sea of bikes, lights, love and pure Christmas magic.
