Celebrate the beauty of spring with a unique adventure combining a scenic train journey and an invigorating guided walk through one of the most breathtaking corners of the Brecon Beacons National Park. You will be led by Sarah Price who is a qualified and fully insured Lowland Walk Leader. Sarah, who operates Walk Hay, will ensure that every step of your adventure is safe, enjoyable, and enriching.Starting at our Pant Station, we’ll ride through vibrant landscapes bursting with fresh greenery and wildflowers, past beautiful reservoirs, and deep into the heart of the Beacons, reaching the end of the line to begin our guided 3.5-mile circular walk.
Our route takes us through the enchanting Blaen-y-Glyn valley, where forest trails come alive with the sounds of spring. You’ll discover a series of beautiful waterfalls cascading through rocky ledges and follow the flowing waters as they wind through the serene woodland.
The walk will take approximately 2.5 hours, leaving plenty of time to soak in the scenery before catching the last train at 3:00 PM to return to the start of the line.
This medium-grade walk features a moderate climb, some uneven and potentially muddy sections, and plenty of opportunities to pause, take in the views, and capture incredible photographs. Your professional guide will ensure a supportive and enjoyable experience for all, making this an ideal outing for those seeking inspiration in nature.
