For many of us, Rick and his Wednesday bird walks brought us together, fostering long-lasting friendships. This event is a celebration of Rick, Larry Plotnick, Fred, and the remarkable birders who have touched so many of our lives. Join us for a walk along the Marsh Trail as we reflect on the impact of our friends who have passed. We invite you to a special bird walk at the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge in memory of Rick Schofield. This in-person event will allow you to explore the stunning wildlife refuge while honoring Rick's passion for bird watching. Bring your binoculars and join us for a morning filled with birding and nature appreciation. All levels of birders are welcome!

Event Details:

Location: Marsh Trail
Meeting Point: Parking lot at the Marsh Trail
Entry Fee: $10 per vehicle (unless you possess a park pass)
Restrooms: Available outside the Visitors Center and inside the Visitor Center(opens at 9:00 AM)

Registration Required: Advance registration is mandatory, and walk-ins cannot be accommodated.
Limited Group Size: To ensure a personalized and enriching experience, the group size is kept small.
