About this Event
All the fun of the outdoor dance event...but now inside for the winter.
A joyful community dance event for all ages and abilities, led by the one and only - Andrew Cuerden and Carmen Rendell (Directors of Soulhub), with DJ Youssef and perhaps a live muscian or two.
You are welcome to either take part or just simply enjoy the music, atmosphere and others dancing.
Perfect for non-dancers, absolute beginners as well as avid social dancers.
A mix of social Ballroom, Latin and Argentine Tango dancing with expert tuition from local BBC Strictly Come Dancing professional Andrew Cuerden
There will be a few tutorial classes to get everyone moving but then everyone is free to dance what and how they like.
This is a trial event...if sucessful we will add more winter dates
Tickets unfortunately cannot be on donation for this event, as we need to pay for the space as well as the dj/lights etc. However we still want to make it as accessible for everyone as we can.

What to wear?
This event is very informal so please wear whatever you are comfortable and confident in but feel free to dress up if you wish. We suggest wearing layers so you can easily regulate your body temperature.
Do I need a partner?
No. You can come on your own or with a partner. There is a mix of solo and partner dancing available.
Getting to Old Deer Park Sports Club:
The club is approximately 10min walk from Richmond Station. There is a car park but it is not huge. AND YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR CAR TO ACCESS FREE PARKING.
There is free car on-street parking during the weekends, on adjacent roads around Kew.
