This Integrative Resuscitation of the Newborn Live Skills training offers both NRP Essentials and NRP Advanced.
NRP Essentials includes:
• Grounding/embodiment as a key skill when delivering emergency skills
• Embodying the baby’s experience and how it matters even during resuscitation
• Initial steps of neonatal resuscitation
• Delivery of Positive Pressure Ventilations (PPV) via:
• Mouth to Mouth
• Bag/mask
• Laryngeal Mask Airway (LMA)
• T-Piece
• CO2 Detector
• Oxygen use in the out-of-hospital setting and how to deliver the appropriate concentrations of oxygen
NRP Advanced includes Essentials, plus:
• Intubation
• Drawing up epinephrine and administration
• Preparing UVC placement and simulation
• Preparation, placement, and simulation of an intraosseous (IO) line
