About this Event
Join us for the Richmond Food Bank’s annual Open House — a community event celebrating the work we do together to nourish, support, and connect.
Whether you’re a long-time supporter or visiting for the first time, this event is a great opportunity to explore our programs, meet our team and partners, and see how we’re making a difference across Richmond.
From food recovery and school meal programs to community outreach, you’ll get a firsthand look at the many ways we support our community. As you visit each station, collect stamps in your event passport and complete it for a chance to win a small prize.
What to Expect
- Informative presentations
- Interactive booths featuring our programs and community partners
- Event passport activity with a prize draw
- Light refreshments
This year, we’re excited to welcome the Richmond Public Library’s Mobile Library Truck, which will be on-site offering books, library card sign-ups, and fun activities for all ages.
In addition, we’ll be hosting two engaging workshops during the event:
- 12:30 PM – Garden Workshop
- 1:30 PM – Indigenous Food Systems Talk
These free sessions will offer insights into food, sustainability, and community-based learning. More details to come!
This event is open to all. Click “Register” to RSVP!
Let’s come together to celebrate community, share knowledge, and build a stronger, more connected Richmond. We look forward to seeing you there!
