About this Event
We are pleased to invite you to an in-person Health and Wellbeing Network Meeting at Duke Street Church, Richmond.
If you're connected with a local voluntary and community group involved in health and wellbeing work, these meetings are always a great opportunity to learn about relevant updates and initiatives, and offer a chance to inform developments and have your say.
The meeting will be led by Richmond CVS and will include guest speakers and representatives from Richmond Council and local Community Health Services.
Topics will include:
- Change NHS: Engagement on 10 year Plan – ensure you and your beneficiaries know how they can have they say on the forthcoming plan for the NHS.
- Eat, Drink, Dress, Move – hear from a highly specialist physiotherapist from community health services about work to ensure people come out of hospital without losing conditioning. She also wants to hear about accessing services from the local voluntary sector.
- Community Involvement – learn about developments and opportunities for the community in our new contract
- Eating for Better Health – hear about a new project that people can get involved in.
- Plus an update on the Richmond Food Partnership and Richmond Council’s Leisure Strategy.
There is also always the chance to share information with other attendees and to network over a cuppa!
