Join Groundwork Richmond, the Richmond Urban Forestry Advisory Committee, the Watershed Project, and other community groups to plant trees in your neighborhood for Arbor Day this October! This community event will be a fun-filled day celebrating planting trees and learning more urban greening efforts, in partnership with the City of Richmond. Get ready to plant trees, learn about the importance of green spaces, and enjoy a little known city park with friends and family.
Community groups will be tabling and offering eucational oppertuinies for all. This event is perfect for volunteers of all ages. Don't miss out on this opportunity to make a positive impact in your city and create lasting memories. See you there!
Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided for all. Please bring a reusable waterbottle, gloves, sunscreen, layers, and closed toe shoes.
