Welcome to the Richfield Music and Arts Program!

Program Duration: 6 Thursdays starting July 11th
Meeting Time: Every Thursday, 1.5-hour sessions
Location: 3715-85 Street NW
Purpose: To learn about and participate in worship arts
Student Grouping:
Grades 1-3
Grades 4-6
Grades 7-12
Session Structure:
Grouping: Students within each grade category will be split into two groups (4 students in each group).
Rotation Activities: Each group will rotate through several activities, ensuring small group instruction.
Activities:
Music Instruction: Focused lessons on various aspects of music.
Organized Craft: Hands-on creative projects.
Fun Group Activity: Engaging games and activities to build teamwork.
Showcase:
Date: Sunday, following the end of the 6-week program.
Purpose:
Display student artwork.
Students perform a music piece for the church congregation.
Celebrate achievements and progress.
Strengthen self-esteem and mentor relationships.
Provide an opportunity for students to invite parents to see their work.
Goals and Benefits:
Skill Development: Through tailored lessons and activities, students will develop skills in worship arts.
Self-Esteem Building: Goal-setting and working towards these goals will help build self-confidence.
Relationship Building: Foster deeper relationships between students and mentors.
Community Celebration: Ending with a showcase to celebrate students’ hard work and achievements.
By providing this structured yet flexible program, we aim to create an enriching experience that nurtures both the artistic and spiritual growth of our students.
