The 5th Annual Richard Olds Roundball ClassicMen’s Basketball Tournament
Dear Team Manager,
The 5th Annual Richard Olds Roundball Classic will take place on Saturday, February 28th and Sunday, March 1st at Iron Mountain High School. Richard Olds was a coach at Iron Mountain for over 50 years and has dedicated his life to Mountaineer Athletics, especially the basketball program. The proceeds from the tournament will go to an annual scholarship in the name of Richard Olds that will be given to two student athletes that have participated in the basketball program for four years while in high school. The entry fee will be $150 per team, with a guarantee of 2 games in a double elimination format. There will be a Class A and Class B bracket formed if there is enough teams to form two classes. Mail your team rosters and entry fee to Iron Mountain High School, 300 West B Street, Iron Mountain, MI 49801 in care of Harvey Johnson. Make all checks out to Harvey Johnson.

MHSAA rules apply for the tournament, except there will be two 20 minute halves with a running clock that will be stopped in the last 2 minutes of each half. Each player will get 6 fouls. There will be a 5 minute half time period as well. 1st place in class A and class B will receive T-Shirts and a Championship Trophy. 2nd place will in each class will receive a trophy as well.
The deadline to enter is Friday, February 20th.
