Rich Meehan Trio with be back at The Retreat in Reading, our spiritual home, for a very special gig on Thursday, 14th November at 7:30pm. We have been busy writing and preparing to record our first full-length album, with the working title “Dreams of Learning to Fly”.This new project builds on our trademark use of the jazz piano trio with the cinematic electronics of our debut EP, “Suite Antique”. This is a really exciting time for us, as it gives us the opportunity to work once again with award-winning virtuoso producer Gerry Diver, and collaborate with internationally renowned artists, such as Emioke Evans, star of the amazing NieR video game soundtracks.
These ten innovative tracks, bursting with memorable hooks, character and emotion, are well on their way to be committed to tape, and we would like to invite our friends and supporters to come and join us at some showcase gigs to help us get the material fully studio-ready.
