Join us for an extraordinary presentation by Ricardo Foster, a retired LCDR, USN, with over 28 years of naval service and a passionate advocate for youth education in aviation and aerospace. As the founder and president of a cutting-edge non-profit flying club in Florida, Ricardo aims to transform the lives of disadvantaged and at-risk boys and girls through comprehensive STEM programs.
Ricardo’s organization is dedicated to the value of STEM education and believes in giving young people hands-on experiences that can launch their careers as future pilots, mechanics, aircraft controllers, drone operators, and aerospace engineers. Each week, they open their doors to the public, offering free aviation STEM sessions, flight simulator experiences, and aircraft flights (with a $75 donation) at Tampa North Aero Park in Wesley Chapel. These events, held every Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM, are designed to ignite a passion for aviation and provide invaluable skills.
In 2021, Ricardo’s team reached over 3,000 young adults through their community outreach programs. Their Avination American Dream nationwide tour introduced aviation careers to over 30,000 youths the following year. With an ambitious goal to impact over 300,000 young adults by the first quarter of 2024, the organization is well on its way, having already engaged over 20,000 young people in 2023 alone.

His vision is clear: with collective effort and support, they can reach even more young people in the Tampa Bay area and beyond, helping to make their dreams of flight a reality.
