On October the 11th during #babylossawarenessweek we are partnering with Margate Park Run to run 5km in remembrance of the babies that we have lost.This is a Sands Ribbon Run event but we wont be fundraising on the day.
The course starts from the shelter at the end of Fifth Avenue, Margate at 9am around the promenade of Palm Bay up to the Botany Bay pub and back. This event is for beginners and experts alike, you can walk, jog or run!
One of our Sands Befrienders will be taking part and will be there for support on the day.
If you would like to take part please register at https://fundraising.sands.org.uk/register/ribbon-run/individual to order your ribbon run t-shirt, you can click join a team and type in East Kent Sands.
Park run have also asked that if people want to take part that they would appreciate if people could register at https://www.parkrun.org.uk/register/ once registering you will be provided with a barcode that they like to scan on the day, they can keep track of how many people have taken part and can record your time for you.
If people could arrive for 08:50am to check in before setting off that would be much appreciated, we will be there to provide pin badges and bracelets if anyone would like them.
