RIBA Hampshire's April lecture, titled 'Designing in Historic Contexts: Care and Creativity' will be hosted by Josh Greig and Charlotte Robinson of Purcell.
This lecture explores the complexities and responsibilities of designing within historic contexts, highlighting the importance of understanding and respecting the fabric and significance of historic buildings and settings to inform creative design.
Purcell architects Josh Greig, project lead for the Radley College Chapel extension, and Charlotte Robinson, appointed Architect to Winchester Cathedral, will share their insights into the challenges and opportunities of working within historic environments, offering a perspective on how to balance conservation with innovative design.
