Rianne Downey is a writer, guitarist, performer and golden-voiced singer whose love of country, folk, and Celtic tradition has propelled her from grassroots venues to massive festival stages — and now to her debut album.
Recorded with Ryan Hadlock (Zach Bryan, Brandi Carlile) at Bear Creek Studio in Seattle, The Consequence of Love is a storming, melodic, and emotionally rich record that sees Rianne gloriously lean into her passion for Townes Van Zandt, Scottish and Irish culture, and honest songwriting.
Following a huge 2023–2025 journey that’s taken her from King Tut’s in Glasgow to the main stage at Glastonbury, and opening for Paul Heaton across stadiums including a landmark show at Bramall Lane, Rianne returns to the record shop floor for an unforgettable up-close set and signing with her fans.
