RHYTHMS AND RECONNECTION - sound guided intuitive painting workshop

RHYTHMS AND RECONNECTION is designed as a primer for introducing sound as a vehicle to expand one’s capacity for artistic expression.

VILLAGER will guide the workshop participants into an energetically rhythmic and harmonious environment by creating soundscapes, inviting them to rediscover themselves through intuitive creative expression. Using an assortment of rhythm and percussion instruments - singing bowls, gongs, sound bowls, cowbells, and djembe accompanied by vocal affirmations- RYTHMS AND RECONNECTION is a safe space for the deep activation of our inner imagery by harnessing the therapeutic power of expressive painting and the healing vibrations of sound and rhythm.

This mindfulness and meditation practice allows you to connect with the sounds and access your emotions, express and channel them through art-making, and transform them into healing emotions in a communal setting.

RYTHMS AND RECONNECTION is designed for everyone 18+ and up, regardless of experience. Participants will be provided with all materials needed. Participants will leave with a piece of artwork that reflects their experience and serves as a testament to their innate creativity and connection to their inner worlds.
