Catch Wendy Gordon live at the Rhythm & Roots Jazz & Blues Matinee on Sunday, February 23rd! Wendy will be joined by her talented band members—Arthur Toney on keys, Leland Crenshaw on lead guitar, Kendrick Smith on sax, Chuck Smotherson on drums, and Bernard Terry on bass—for an afternoon of soulful jazz and blues.
In honor of Black History Month, Wendy will pay tribute to legendary Black performing artists, from Billie Holiday to Bobby Bland, through both poetry and song. This heartfelt performance will be a celebration of history, music, and culture.
Doors open at 2:00 PM, show starts at 2:30 PM. Tickets are just $15 for an afternoon you won’t want to miss! Wendy is excited to debut at the National Blues Museum, and we can’t wait to see you there.
