The Stanly County Historical Society is concluding their seasonal lawn concert series with well known local musician Brent Bowers & Friends on Saturday, October 11 at 7:00 PM on the lawn of the Historic 1852 Isaiah Snuggs House in Downtown Albemarle.Set against the backdrop of one of Stanly County's most cherished landmarks, this free family friendly outdoor concert will showcase his latest reinvented band, The Great Octopus Band and their musical stylings have been described as " Indie-Folk-Pop" featuring acoustic guitar.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or warm blankets and relax under the stars while enjoying the unique atmosphere of Downtown Albemarle. The 1852 Isaiah Snuggs House is located in the Downtown Social District and beverages served in a social district cup are welcome onsite.
