A little more about our artists:
Khodi Dill is an award-winning Bahamian-Canadian spoken word artist, author, rapper, and anti-racist educator from Saskatoon. Centering equity at the heart of his practice, Khodi hopes that his work will engage people of all ages in social justice and the arts. Dill is the author of two picture books, including Welcome to the Cypher and Little Black Lives Matter. Dill’s highly anticipated nonfiction book: stay up: racism, resistance, and reclaiming Black freedom is available now. For more information, visit thegreygriot.com or follow @KhodiDill on social media.
Ahmad Majid is an Iraqi-Canadian poet who has been performing hip-hop and spoken word all over Canada for the last decade. His style combines intricate rhyme schemes with important social/political issues of human rights. He is a 3-time Slam-Team member and a Canadian Festival of Spoken Word 2013 Finalist
Isaac Bond is a writer and rapper that goes way back with grassroots events and arts education. He connects with people through percussion and poetry. Over several years, he has organized and performed in hundreds of events celebrating literature in Saskatoon and across Canada.
