The Summer Square Concert Series is a free, outdoor event at 6 PM Saturday nights June -September in front of the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall.The Rhynhart-Hellwitz Duo is collaboration of Albany old-timer Charlie Rhynhart on Dobro guitar; harp (harmonica, that is); and vocals, and classically-trained Fred Hellwitz, [degenerated to] playing electrically-powered guitar. We play our versions of a conglomeration of blues tunes, jazz standards, original songs, and the occasion folk or “pop” tune, putting our own spin on them. Is this a good thing? I don’t know, but it’s fun! Come hear us and you decide!
