The public is invited to an evening of poetry and art at Brooklyn's BarberShop in McAllen from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 20th. This event is brought to you by the RGV Women Poets Society and the 7 to 8 Poetry Project (a program of McAllen Poet Laureate Emeritus Daniel García Ordaz.)Two visual artists will be displaying and discussing their work as part of this special evening of creativity.
Brooklyn's BarberShop is a full-service shop located near the corner of 23rd and Nolana in McAllen.
