Rhodri Buttrick: mY CoNtRiBuTiOn tO ThE ArTs
Show description...Rhodri Buttrick is a product of the garishly colourful 90s, shaped and battered by decay and ruin of the last two decades.
Expect a tale of dyslexia, Bodger and Badger, the radio industry, Welsh heritage and some other stuff....
Worth every penny the arts council have thrown at him (£5.50), this is his much needed Contribution to The Arts. After a successful run at the Brighton Fringe Rhodri brings his unique show to Oxford.
About Rhodri…
Half Welsh, half English, long-term comedian, Rhodri Buttick is a rare concoction of sarcasm and silliness. An unpredictable and anarchic eccentric.
Prior to standup, Rhodri worked as a commercial radio presenter where he was paid to say silly things between records he wasn't allowed to choose.
What they say about Rhodri…
"Chaotic energy, combining well-spoken, sculpted anecdotes with unhinged moments of mania”- Reading Today (Review of May performance)
"Wild, witty and wonderfully weird”- Honk Comedy
“Genuinely love Rhodri’s act”- Paul Pirie (Comedy circuit veteran)
“Rhodri is without doubt one of the freshest, original and funny comedians working the circuit at the moment.”- Matt Fox, Director of the Swindon Fringe
