A special Rhode Tunes Music Series show to kick off a new season featuring a variety of past and future featured Rhode Tunes artists and other local musicians choosing to perform great songs from various West Coast artists - from San Diego to Seattle. Beginning in the 1950s & 60s through the 1990s the diverse populations on the West Coast significantly shaped American musical heritage pioneering various musical genres that redefined pop culture with unique cross-cultural fusions that enriched American music with new sounds and traditions.
