Rhino Bucket and Prima Donna Rising back by popular demand at the World Famous Whisky a Go Go!
Rhino Bucket has lost none of the hunger, propulsion, beer drinkin’ ‘n’ hell-raising that they began with in 1988, leading Jesse Fink, author of The Youngs: The Brothers Who Built AC/DC, to boldly state: “More than any other band, Rhino Bucket has awakened the ghost of Bon Scott. His spirit lives in their music. They’re more AC/DC than AC/DC – and that’s saying something.”
Loud, proud, and unapologetic, Rhino Bucket signed with Warner Brothers/Reprise in 1989 and recorded two albums with the label. Their song “Ride With Yourself” from their second LP, Get Used to It, was featured in the hit movie Wayne’s World. After parting ways with Warner Brothers, Simon Wright (AC/DC and Dio) joined the band for the next album, Pain (1994). In 1996, the band took a hiatus but roared back to life in 2001 when guitarist Brian “Damage” Forsythe of KIX joined up. The past dozen years or so have seen the band record the soundtrack for cult stoner film Rolling Kansas, and placed songs in several movies, including “Welcome to Hell” in The Wrestler and the title track to The Outdoorsmen: Blood, Sweat and Beers. Rhino Bucket teamed up with Acetate Records in 2006 and has released four all-original albums since then: And Then It Got Ugly (2006), The Hardest Town (2009), Who’s Got Mine? (2011), and The Last Real Rock N’ Roll (2017) along with two compilation albums, No Song Left Behind, Pain and Suffering (both 2007), and a live album featuring the original lineup, Sunrise on Sunset Blvd. (2012).
Additionally, Rhino Bucket were (and remain) in constant motion – ”like 43 gigs in 46 days, with 21 in a row to start the tour”, several Monsters of Rock cruises and countless other gigs all over the world.
In 2021, Rhino Bucket performed at the inaugural Monsters on the Mountain festival in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee as well as a series of private events.
In 2022, Rhino Bucket returns to Europe in January for a 4 week tour before returning to perform at the Monsters of Rock Cruise leaving out of Miami, Florida in February.
After that, Rhino Bucket will return to the studio to start the process of making a new album with the scheduled release sometime around the end of 2022??

To put it simply, Rhino Bucket sound exactly like -era , something for which the band makes no apologies. Furthermore, what could easily be passed off as mere plagiarism becomes instead a celebration of the original masterpiece thanks to Rhino Bucket's bold-faced indifference and oftentimes fantastic songs. They also deserve some credit for coming up with one of the most original and bizarre names in rock history.
Formed in Van Nuys, California in 1987 by Finnish-born transplant (-cloned vocals and guitar), lead guitarist , bassist , and drummer , Rhino Bucket perfectly replicated 's raw, three-chord boogie to perfection on their self-titled debut album. But while they were quickly embraced by the U.K. and European press, the band was faced with nothing but apathy and scorn in America, where they were pegged as rip-off artists and received little promotional support from their label. Despite the inclusion of one of its tracks, "Ride with Yourself," in ' popular movie, their aptly titled second album, 1992's , also failed to make any headway, and the band was soon unceremoniously dropped by Reprise. Still they soldiered on, and in an ironic twist of fate, recruited former skin-pounder to replace the departed for their third album, 1994's independently released . Rhino Bucket finally called it a day the following year, but eventually re-formed in 2001 with plans to record a new album. After a lengthy hiatus, the group returned in 2006 with , which saw of taking over lead guitar duties. In 2008 the band appeared on the soundtrack of director 's Oscar-winning sports drama , and the following year saw the group release their fifth studio long-player, . dropped in 2011, followed by another olympic bout of touring that saw the band play a relentless string of shows both at home and abroad. After a short break from the studio, Rhino Bucket returned with their seventh full-length, , in 2017.Rhino Bucket is still kickin' ass and takin' names to this day-playing sold out show all over the globe! A nes studio album in the woks has Bucketheads waiting with bailed breath for its reease later this year. Prima Donna Rising is delighted to be heating up the stage for RB with their own style of original, hard rockin' metal. Aslo appearing: Villa Nova,If I Fall.
