Internationally acclaimed violinist Eric Silberger has earned praise for his “spine-tingling” and “astonishing” performances (The Guardian) and is celebrated for his “dazzling virtuoso playing” (Washington Post). A prize winner at both the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition and the Michael Hill International Violin Competition, Eric has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, the Louvre, and London’s Royal Festival Hall, among many iconic venues.

Eric has collaborated with legendary conductors such as Lorin Maazel, Michael Tilson Thomas, and Vladimir Ashkenazy and performed as a soloist with leading orchestras, including the London Philharmonia, San Francisco Symphony, St. Petersburg Philharmonia, and Cincinnati Symphony. As a chamber musician, he has shared the stage with distinguished artists like Itzhak Perlman, Mischa Maisky and Jake Shimabukuro.

Eric holds a BA from Columbia University and an MM from Juilliard, where he studied with Glenn Dicterow, Itzhak Perlman, Pinchas Zukerman, and Lorin Maazel. He performs on a rare 1757 J.B. Guadagnini violin, generously on loan from Classically Connected, Inc. and the Sau-Wing Lam Collection. He also co-founded the Hawaii International Music Festival and serves as Executive Director of Strings at the Classical Bridge International Music Festival.
