------------
The Rio Grande Valley is ground zero for the Republican extremist anti-immigrant MAGA agenda aka Project 2025 where they have laid out specific actions to round up minorities, they perceive to be undocumented without actually knowing if the person is a US citizen, Resident Visa Card Holder, Foreign Exchange Student, etc.
Project 2025 emboldens racist individuals with such mentalities to engage in violating the civil liberties of our valley population at their whim.
The RGV is a diverse, but minority majority Latino governed population filled with decent hardworking citizens and legal residents.
This election is also steeped deeply in Republican chauvinism and misogyny against the only qualified presidential candidate who happens to be a female, VP Kamala Harris.
Grassroots Awesome Women in Action -RGV Supports presidential candidate Kamala Harris!
Join March on Texas - Awesome Women in Action RGV as we show our support for Kamala Harris, and speak out against Republican's anti-immigrant hateful rhetoric, the ongoing assault on women's reproductive rights, including threats against our LGBTQ communities.
Wear your own shirts. Bring your own signs. Tell your friends and family. The valley is speaking out against racism, chauvinism, homophobia, oppression in all its forms.
