A walk to coincide with the season of fading light. Expect to use all your senses on this gently participatory event
About this Event

RGB is a series of walks led by artist and writer Lizzie Philps to accompany three gallery exhibitions at Hestercombe. From the darkness underground to the distant horizon, Lizzie will be linking house and garden through plants, light and space, taking a playful approach to light technologies and reflecting on past and present ecologies of perception.

The walk will last approximately an hour, with a comfort break and light refreshment. We will be walking on uneven surfaces, so please wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather.

Lizzie Philps is an artist and writer with a background in site-specific performance. Lizzie will be creating a series of exhibitions, walks and writings at Hestercombe in 2025-26 as part of a DYCP grant from the Arts Council.
