We are a RFU recognised First Aid Training Provider. This courses consists of a Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course, incorporating rugby specific examples, and additional rugby specific content provided by the RFU. This additional content comprises: suspected fractures, suspected spinal injuries, head injuries and concussion, injury prevention and return to play.
Our qualification awarding body is Qualsafe and candidates will receive a certificate for the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in EFAW (RQF) qualification, provided they complete the required content and are successful in the practical and theory assessments. The qualification is valid for 3 years.
Candidates will also receive a certificate of completion, from ourselves, for the additional Rugby Specific content provided they attend those sessions, and demonstrate competency in the skills taught, and complete the RFU Headcase for First Aid Trainers online learning module.
As such this an appropriate level course for rugby club appointed First Aiders as per RFU Regulation 9.
