Venetian composers were particularly interested in pushing the boundaries of musical style, and their innovations eventually influenced music far beyond the collection of city-states and republics now known as Italy. Rezonance Baroque Ensemble is bringing you a “carnival of sound.” Come and immerse yourself in wild, mysterious, amusing, and passionate early Italian music as we “unmask” these treasures. If you wish, you can even wear a carnival mask! Works by: Vivaldi, Castello, Marini, and more.
(PS: We are serious about the carnival masks – we would be thrilled to see folks in costume!)
